How to Find Kwazulu Weavers

From Durban

Follow the N3 past Mooi River Plaza
Take the R179 Exit (Estcourt North / Giants Castle) turnoff
Turn left and travel through Loskop for about 30 km’s
At the crossroads turn right at the sign R600 Central Drakensberg. Thokoziza Craft Village will be on your left
Follow this road for about 3 km’s and Kwazulu Weavers and the Waffle Hut will be on the right hand side.

From Johannesburg

The Scenic Route (Johannesburg to Harrismith on N3)

At Harrismith turn right at the N5 towards Bethlehem / Bloemfontein
Proceed for about 5km’s, turn left onto the R712 (QwaQwa / Phuthaditjhbaba)
Proceed for about 5km’s
Turn left onto the R74 (Bergville / Oliviershoek Pass Road)
Continue past Sterkfontein Dam, down Oliviershoek Pass, straight through Bergville and into Winterton
At Winterton turn right onto the R600 (Central Drakensberg Road) that is opposite the Engen Garage
Proceed over the railway line and travel for about 10 km’s towards the Central Drakensberg.
Kwazulu Weavers and the Waffle Hut will be on the left hand side

OR

The Freeway Route (Johannesburg to Van Reenen's Pass on the N3)

Pass through the Tugela Toll Plaza
Continue for about 14 km’s to the R616 Bergville turn-off
Proceed onto the N11 towards Ladysmith for about 4 km’s and turn right onto the R600 Spioenkop / Winterton Road
Travel over the highway past Spioenkop Lodge / Nature Reserve
When you reach a T-Junction, turn left to Winterton
Turn right opposite the Engen Garage as you get into Winterton at the sign R600 Central Drakensberg
Travel for about 10 km’s towards the Central Drakensberg
Kwazulu Weavers and the Waffle Hut will be on the left hand side
